In 1990, a group of Womyn of Antioch began a campaign to promote a culture free of sexual violence at Antioch College.
We have expectations for the person we date, for the first date, for their family, ect.
We all have expectations, whether we recognize it or not.
As a member of the Antioch College community, I affirm that I will be honest and respectful in all my relationships, and I will advance these standards of behavior in others. Violence committed by a person who is or has been in a social relationship of a romantic or intimate nature with the victim.
(i) The existence of such a relationship shall be determined based on the reporting party's statement and with consideration of the length of the relationship, the type of relationship, and the frequency of interaction between the persons involved in the relationship.
Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program. Title IX is a civil right amendment that prohibits sex discrimination.
Sex discrimination includes all forms of sexual harassment including verbal and sexual harassment, and sexual violence by employees, students or third parties.
